At River Garden Care we understand that the key means that enables us to deliver home care to the highest standard is the quality of our people. Therefore we ensure that we employ care staff who share the same values, ethics and approach to care as us, so that there is consistency from the core of our organisation all the way through to the front line services we deliver.
After passing our stringent selection criteria, the staff we employ are treated with respect, kindness and support and are encouraged to self-develop, enabling River Garden Care to have at its disposal a highly motivated and happy care team with unparalleled levels of employee retention. This in turn promotes excellence in our care service which ensures high levels of satisfaction from those we care for.
All of our care staff are based locally in and around the Boroughs of Bromley, Bexley and Croydon. They are committed and compassionate individuals who strive tirelessly to ensure our clients are always satisfied. Our care staff have dedicated their working life to caring, and nothing pleases them more than to bring a smile to the faces of our clients.

Our in-house training programme ensures that all our care staff are fully competent and skilled with managing the needs of older people in a compassionate and professional manner.
Our care staff are always supported by our care coordinators who operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can rest assured that the River Garden team have the resources and know-how to deal with any eventuality.
We appreciate that caring for older people can sometimes be a challenging job for care workers and family members alike. As a responsible employer we truly care for our care staff because we strongly believe that a happy care worker means a happy client.
All new recruits undergo our 5-stage recruitment and vetting process to ensure we only hire the most professional, kind and compassionate carers. This vetting process includes an enhanced DBS check and full background checks.
River Garden Care are proud to be the first domiciliary care provider in the UK who, as a minimum, pays all of its care staff the ‘living wage’. We recognise the huge contribution that homecare workers offer our society and we believe that in order to address some of the issues the sector is facing we should, as a community, start by respecting and valuing the actual people who deliver quality care.
River Garden Care is proud to be led by a highly professional and experienced management team.
As valued clients of River Garden Care we ensure that you can easily access and discuss any aspect of our organisation or the service we offer you with any member of our team, whether they be our senior managers on hands-on carers.
We all share the same commitment and desire to offer you the highest quality of care and if you have any matters you would like to share with us, be they a compliment or criticism, we’re more than happy to sit down and discuss this with you.
