How We Can Help

At River Garden Care we deliver a specialised dementia home care service designed for older people. With our tailored support package we enable our clients who have dementia to continue living safely and independently at home. We begin by taking the time to really get to know you and your loved ones and understand how dementia impacts your daily living. We then tailor a care package that is right for your individual needs. All of our care workers are carefully trained in understanding dementia so they have the ability to provide person centered care that focuses on you as an individual, and not the symptoms of the illness.

We work with our clients and their loved ones to build a life story book which we use to learn about good memories from their past as well as their recent interests which can help to prompt interaction and activities with our clients and to help avoid things that may distress the individual. You can trust River Garden Care to look after your loved one with sensitivity, kindness and respect as we truly appreciate the impact Dementia can have on someone. Our Dementia care services are available either as a full package of daily care, or as respite to allow the full time carer to take a regular break.
